Hard Skills

Video Production

My internship has taught me so much about video production on all ends. I am able to film from different angles and with different cameras. I know how to edit practice & game film, as well TV copies of NCAA games. I am familiar with how to cut up footage and navigate the editing software. I am proficient in XOS Digital Media I am also able to organize more advanced footage for purposes such as NCAA Scouting.

Business Knowledge

I am a business administration minor and have taken numerous classes on the basics of business. Some of the subtopics include: marketing, management, accounting, business analytics, and supply chain management. These classes have given me a firm knowledge on how businesses operate on all ends.

Social Media

I have a background in running social media pages for multiple athletic teams at my high school when I was a junior and senior. I also run the social media accounts for my co-ed professional fraternity Phi Sigma Pi, as the Public Relations Chair. This position directly correlates to my role as Recruitment Advisor.

Soft Skills

Teamwork

I have had multiple jobs so far in my career, and working with others is one thing they all have in common. Having a strong sense of teamwork and being able to work well with others is something I am very comfortable with. Collaboration and support from peers is crucial for a team to perform successfully.

Problem Solving

Being able to problem solve and think quickly is something I excel in. My internship with Rutgers Football has strengthened my problem solving skills significantly. The office is a very fast-paced environment that is always prepared for changes that arise. These changes have required me to think quickly and efficiently on multiple occasions, sharpening my problem solving skills in the process.

Time Management

I take time management very seriously. Having good time management not only ensures that everything I do is done promptly, but it also keeps me organized and motivated. Without good time management skills, I would most likely be late to practices and be very behind in my schoolwork. Having the skills to be able to manage my time with a busy schedule is very important and something I prioritize.
